Obama cheating scandal: Shocking new reports’: Newspaper claims Obama affair with campaign aide

Posted on Updated on

National Enquirer story titled “Obama Cheating Scandal: Shocking New Reports” claims that President Obama is “in a shocking cheating scandal after being caught in a Washington, DC Hotel with a former campaign aide. . .An Enquirer reporter has confirmed the limo driver’s account of the secret 2004 rendezvous.”

It was the National Enquirer that broke the story of former presidential candidate John Edwards (D) cheating on his terminally-ill wife Elizabeth, when other newspapers were ignoring steadily growing proof of Senator Edwards’ repeated infidelity.

Only time will tell whether there is any truth in these reports about Obama.  Any denials by Obama might only lend credence to these allegations — especially since Obama’s credibility has diminished as a result of all his broken campaign promises and false claims.

Obama’s broken promises include his pledge to enact a “net spending cut” (broken by trillions in new federal spending), his promise not to raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000 a year (broken by excise-tax increases on middle-class and poor people, and by new health-care taxes on uninsured people, cosmetic surgery, and medical devices, and on millions of people with major out-of-pocket medical expenses or Flexible Savings Accounts), and his promise not to sign bills without first giving the public five days of notice.

Obama falsely claimed that the $787 billion stimulus package was needed to prevent “irreversible decline,” but the Congressional Budget Office admitted that it would actually shrink the economy “in the long run.”  As the Washington Examiner notes, “If his stimulus program was approved, Obama promised, unemployment would not go above 8 percent . . . The reality is that it passed 10.3 percent.”  (Most Americans and most economists think that the stimulus has failed to create jobs despite its enormous cost.)

Obama has repeatedly made false claims about Supreme Court rulings such as the Citizens United and Ledbetter decisions.
